Bob Ludlam, Sr.
Bob is second-generation aviation and has been flying since an early age. He is a former corporate pilot and instructor. Bob has logged over fifteen thousand flight hours with type ratings in Citation, Westwind, Sabreliner, Hawker and Learjet to his credit. He was a designated PPE examiner with the Federal Aviation Administration for ten years and a Captain in the U.S. Air Force. Equipment flown in the Air Force includes T-38’s, C 97 and C 124’s with extensive international operations. Bob has been in aircraft sales since 1974 and created his own sales company in 1982. He has built a successful business by relying on his expertise in aviation and an extensive knowledge of corporate aircraft combined with the multitude of excellent clients along the way. He has built the company from a start-up concept to one of the leading and oldest aviation sales companies worldwide. Bob specializes in jet and turboprop acquisition and sales.
Susan Ludlam is President of Bob Ludlam Aircraft Sales, Inc. Susan has been in aviation since 1970. She joined Bob in creating BLAS in 1982 and has assisted in establishing one of the leading and oldest aviation sales companies worldwide. She is the contract coordinator and administrator for the company handling all aspects of aircraft transactions, marketing, public relations, development, design, and advertising. Susan is also the special projects coordinator for aircraft acquisitions and sales.
Bob Ludlam, Jr.
Bob Ludlam, Jr. is the Vice President of Bob Ludlam Aircraft Sales, Inc. Bob has a broad knowledge aircraft sales and corporate aviation spanning the fleet. He has extensive knowledge of aircraft charter as he is the founder, owner and operator of Jet Charter 365 LLC in Boca Raton, Florida. He earned a BBA Degree in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma and has logged over 10,000 flight hours during his flying career. He is an Airline Transport Pilot and holds type ratings in Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus 321, Boeing 737/BBJ, Challenger 600/601, Citation Series, Falcon 10/20/50/900, Gulfstream II/III/IV/V with HUD and EVS, Hawker Series, Learjet 35/55/60, and Westwind Series. He is also an ATP rated Seaplane pilot, Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Flight Instructor, Helicopter pilot, and Boeing 727 flight engineer.
Executive Sales Director
Amy Ludlam joined the firm of Bob Ludlam Aircraft Sales in early 2002 after graduating from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She currently is the head of the West Palm Beach, Florida based aircraft sales division as Executive Sales Director with responsibilities in research and development for acquisition, sales and consulting worldwide. Since joining the firm, Amy has traveled extensively, attended aircraft systems schools and has become well respected throughout the aviation industry.
Jeff Ludlam is co-owner and partner of the law firm of Hall, & Ludlam, PLLC located in downtown Oklahoma City. His legal practice concentrates in areas of commercial litigation and transactions, aviation litigation, legislative ethics and compliance, franchise law, banking law, construction litigation, environmental litigation and estate planning. Mr. Ludlam is a former partner with Mulinix, Hall, Andrews and Ludlam.
